Clan Carruthes is known as a proud Scottish Clan with DNA Markers showing nobility and Royalty throughout Scotlands history. We were Kings, we were Queens, we were Crusaders , and Border Reivers. Clan Carruthers is an ancient Irish clan with verified records beyond, Eochaid IV mac Aeda Find”The Venomous” King of the Dal Riata Ri na Dal Riata and his grandson, Kenneth I Mac Alpine King of the Picts. Clan Carruthers is also a Norse Clan, with records showing two large landings on Scotlands soil , one in 400 AD and one in 800 AD. We lived in Gutland and DNA related to the Beowulf Vikings. Clan Carruthers live by and set the example of standing up for what is right and re-bulking all that is morally evil. Let us rid ourselves of those who cast doubt and plant seeds of defeatism.
